1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

Personal information you disclose to us

In Short:  We collect personal information that you provide to us.

Personal data, or personal information means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified. It does not include data where the identity has been removed (anonymized data).

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the Website, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, when you participate in activities on the Website or otherwise when you contact us.

The personal information that we collect depends on the context of your interactions with us and the Website, the choices you make and the products and features you use. The personal information we collect may include the following:

We may collect, use, store, and transfer different kinds of personal data about you through the Service which we have grouped together as follows:

"Identity Data" Includes your name (first name, middle name, and last name), username or similar identifier, title, and date of birth, college ID, gender, age, photograph.

Includes Govt. authorized identity proofs such as PAN, Aadhaar, Driving License, Voter ID.

"Contact Data" Includes your email address, telephone numbers, billing address, and current residence address (including geographic area such as city and country of residence).

"Profile Data" Includes your interests, queries, communications between you and the company, preferences, job applicant information (such as resume, job title), occupation, current institution/organization name, education qualification, year of graduation, feedback, employment details (salaried or self-employed) and survey responses.

Includes your username and password, purchases or orders made by you, your interests, and preferences.

"Marketing and Communications Data" Includes your preferences in receiving marketing communications from us and our third parties, and your communication preferences.

"Usage Data" Includes information about how you use and interact with our Service (such as our websites, subscriptions, email communications, user requests, etc.)

"Financial Data" If you decide to make a payment for any of our products and services, your Financial Data, which includes your bank account details, will be collected to provide the purchased services. We may also collect monthly income, bank statements of the last 3 or 6 months/payslips.

Any third - party services used to support the service provided by the company, may be given limited access to the data as per the regulatory requirements and applicable laws. All payment data is stored by Razor Pay. You may find their privacy notice link(s) here: https://razorpay.com/privacy/. 

"Transaction Data" Includes details about payments to and from you and other details of products and services you have purchased from us.

"Technical Data" Includes your IP address, date and time of the inquiry, time difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), the content of the request (concrete page), access status/HTTP status code, amount of data transferred in each case, website that receives the request, browser, operating system and its interface, language, and browser software version.

"Media Data" Includes photos, audios, videos, testimonials of the user given or collected with their consent, during or post the service duration, relevant to the activities of the service provided

We also collect 

“Other Data” If you take assessments on our platform, we may also request access to your device webcam and microphone for online proctoring.

"Aggregated Data" which includes statistical or demographic data which may be derived from your personal data but is not considered personal data under GDPR as this data does not directly or indirectly reveal your identity.

We do not collect any 

Special Categories of Personal Data about you (this includes details about your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, information about your health and genetic and biometric data). Nor do we collect any information about criminal convictions and offences.

All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information.

Information automatically collected

In Short:  Some information — such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address and/or browser and device characteristics — is collected automatically when you visit our Website.

We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use or navigate the Website. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our Website and other technical information. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Website, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.

Like many businesses, we also collect information through cookies and similar technologies.

In Short: We may collect data from other websites we operate, other services we provide, third parties, business or marketing partners, public databases and other outside sources.

  • To facilitate account creation and logon process. If you choose to link your account with us to a third-party account (such as your Google or Facebook account), we use the information you allowed us to collect from those third parties to facilitate account creation and logon process for the performance of the contract.

Prior to posting a testimonial, we will obtain your consent to use your name and the content of the testimonial.   • Data Processors. We use partners (data processors) for some business processes that are not core to our expertise but are critical to our users having a quality experience. When we provide your personal data to data processors, we will have in place a written agreement with each third party confirming on what basis the third party will handle your personal data and will ensure that there are sufficient safeguards and processes in place to protect your personal data.

6. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

In Short:  We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy notice unless otherwise required by law.

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting or other legal requirements). No purpose in this notice will require us keeping your personal information for longer than twelve (12) months past the termination of the user's account.

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

9. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

At this stage no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this privacy notice.
